SUMMARY:Thursday's dodge the Thunderstorm Heatwave ride
DESCRIPTION:Thursday 06 July\, afternoon ride from Loblaws Parking lot. Start time – 6pm ish.. \nRide will be contingent on thunderstorm forecast & the level of heat. Temps are forecast for 29 to 33C & Humidex will make it feel like 37 – 40C \nRoute is general but not specifically fixed yet. \nEast through Sanitation Plant\, The Ridge\, to Cricket Tree. \nWith the crazy heat warning we will ride Beaver Flats \nThen maybe up to Leviathan\, up Swamp\, MAYBE around the Gundy trails & back South on Bunny Run/Poop\, then  we will see how the heat is affecting people during the ride.. Possible Training loop or Fruitloop. \nMeetup location 1: Loblaws Parking Lot (Redway Road) Route: \n3 Rocks/Sanitation/Ridge to Cricket Tree \nDifficulty: moderate. Technical climbs/descents. \nMeetup location 2: Cricket Tree\nTime: 6:30– 6:35pm ish\nRoute: Topo/Catalyst/PA/Bunny Run/Flats back to 3 Rocks. \nDifficulty: Moderate to difficult ie exposure\, narrow trails\, skinnies\, technical climbs\, bridges \nNote: \nHEAT WARNING! It’s a stinker of a day\, bring ample water. Anyone meeting us at Loblaws parking\, we will have limited frozen Fat Boy coconut water to hand out. \nIt’s STILL mozzy season… and they’re ravenous! Unless you plan on feeding them\, apply your bug spray.
