Heatwave Tuesday afternoon Don Valley ride 6pm-ish

Tuesday afternoon ride from Loblaws Parking lot Start time – 6pm ish..

Route is general but not specifically fixed yet.

East through Sanitation Plant, The Ridge, to Cricket Tree.

With the crazy heat warning we will decide on Beaver Flats or Topo to Bot.

Then maybe up to Leviathan & back South on Bunny Run/Poop, then  we will see how the heat is affecting people during the ride..

Meetup location 1: Loblaws Parking Lot (Redway Road) Route:

3 Rocks/Sanitation/Ridge to Cricket Tree

Difficulty: moderate. Technical climbs/descents.

Meetup location 2: Cricket Tree
Time: 6:30– 6:35pm ish
Route: Topo/Catalyst/PA/Bunny Run/Flats back to 3 Rocks.

Difficulty: Moderate to difficult ie exposure, narrow trails, skinnies, technical climbs, bridges

Note:

HEAT WARNING! It’s a stinker of a day, bring ample water. Anyone meeting us at Loblaws parking, we will have limited frozen Fat Boy coconut water to hand out.

It’s STILL mozzy season… and they’re ravenous! Unless you plan on feeding them, apply your bug spray.
